A beautifully toned stater from Kelenderis

CILICIA. Kelenderis. Circa 430-420 BC. Stater (Silver, 20 mm, 10.82 g, 4 h). Youthful nude rider seated sideways on horse prancing to left, holding whip in his right hand, preparing to jump off; below horse's forelegs, Π. Rev. KEΛ[E] Goat kneeling left, head turned back to right; all within circular incuse. Casabonne type 2. Kraay, Celenderis, 11 (O7/R7A). SNG France -. SNG Levante -. Beautifully toned. Flan cracks and with a minor die break on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
